You can count the ingredients in our Pugliese sourdough loaf on one hand: 100% organic durum wheat flour from Puglia in Italy, sourdough starter, water, salt and time.
This handmade sourdough loaf has been slowly risen for 48 hours which gives it a wonderful soft and chewy texture and flavoursome crust. The unique shaping of this loaf makes it a favourite with our younger customers too: some call it affectionately the dinosaur bread. The durum wheat flour gives this loaf a beautiful buttery flavour and it is delicious served hot, toasted with butter and local jam.
Frozen at -18°c, it will keep for 6 months
